East Coast tour announced; presale starts Monday

Hawksley Workman will make his triumphant return to the East Coast of Canada this fall, with a seven-date tour beginning in Fredericton on September 24 and wrapping up in Wolfville on October 3. Presale details are being finalized, so keep an eye out for news on your first chance at tickets to these shows, coming very soon.

Hawksley returns to Calgary, presale on now!

Hawksley's heading back to Calgary this summer, for a special show at the swanky Flames Central on July 11. HawksleyWorkman.com is offering fans the first crack at tickets to this show, with our exclusive, members-only presale, on now. We're offering two different types of tickets: General admission and a limited number of seating packages in the Mezzanine. Each package includes a handful of tickets (four or six depending on your section) so you and your friends can relax and enjoy the show in style.

Hawksley's on his way to Winnipeg

Hawksley's added yet another date to his Spring touring schedule, this time in Winnipeg! London, ON show announced, presale starts tomorrow

Another week, another presale: Hawksley will be in London, ON, on July 30 for a show at The Grand Theatre. The HawksleyWorkman.com presale for this date begins tomorrow morning, April 9, at 11 am EDT. Tickets will go fast for this appearance at the majestic venue, so make sure you're logged in and ready to go on time tomorrow morning. These presales are open solely to HawksleyWorkman.com members, so join now if you're not yet a member.

Win Hawksley Tickets with CBC Radio 1's Bandwidth

Want to see Hawksley in Waterloo or Peterborough? Make sure to tune into CBC's Bandwidth with Alan Neal at around 5 pm EST tomorrow for a chance to win tickets to Hawksley's upcoming shows iin both of those cities. They'll also be giving away limited-edition concert poster designed by Chad Van Gaalen.

To listen to Bandwidth online, logon to the CBC.ca and click the "Listen Live" button at 5 pm tomorrow and pay close attention, as there will be a skill-testing question to answer before you can win. Good luck!

Hawksley's Juno performance available at iTunes starting Tuesday

Hawksley and his fellow nominees Great Big Sea and Eccodeck closed out Sunday night's Juno broadcast in style, with a feverish rendition of Led Zeppelin's "Gallows Pole". Starting tomorrow, the performance will be available to download as a single from iTunes Canada. All proceeds from the sales of the track will go to Musicounts.

Second Waterloo show added, presale on now

Hawksley to host Juno Songwriter's Circle on March 29

Hawksley Workman has been tapped to host this year's Juno Songwriter's Circle, an event in which some of Canada's best songwriters gather to discuss the songwriting process and perform selections from their respective songbooks. Slated to appear at the Centre in Vancouver for Performing Arts are: Jim Cuddy & Greg Keelor (of Blue Rodeo), Sarah Slean, Jacob Hoggard (of Headly), Chris Thorsteinson and Dave Wasyliw (of Doc Walker), Ndidi Onukwulu, and the legendary Buffy Saint-Marie.

Hawksley shows announced for NYC and Ottawa

Two new show announcements today: Hawksley Workman has scheduled shows in New York City and Ottawa for the Spring.

The NYC date is set for April 15 at Joe's Pub. Your first shot at tickets begins tomorrow morning, with the HawksleyWorkman.com presale kicking off at 11 am EST. You must be a member to participate, so create an account now if you don't have one already.

The Ottawa show, on March 20, is a special event in conjunction with LiVE 88.5, an intimate appearance at the stations new live music venue, the LiVE Lounge. Tickets will only be available at the door and through on-air giveaways, so if you live in the broadcast area, start listening!

Hawksley nominated for a Juno Award!

A round of applause please: In a press conference held this morning, it was announced that Hawksley Workman's stellar Between the Beautifuls has been nominated for a Juno Award, in the Adult Alternative Album of the Year category. The awards will be handed out in a ceremony to be held in Vancouver on March 29th. Break out the bubbly!

Two more shows down under

Happy new year! Hawksley's latest Australian jaunt has been hugely successful: he's been selling out venues and drawing rave reviews where ever he goes. In order to meet the demand, two more shows have been added to his tour schedule, January 14 at  Brass Monkey in Cronulla and January 15 at the Vanguard in Newtown.

Joe's Pub show postponed!

We regret to announce that Hawksley will have to postpone his December 5 show at Joe’s Pub in New York City, due to a bout of laryngitis. The rescheduled show is set for January 26, 2009. Tickets for the December 5 show will be honoured on the new date. Join us in sending Hawksley "get well soon" wishes!

Hawksley's set to ring in the new year in a warm climates: he's booked a 14-date tour of Australia, kicking off December 27 at the Woodford Folk Festival and wrapping up January 11 in Hobart, Tasmaina.
