Review by Leah
You know how some albums have a few songs that you love and you always end up
skipping the rest because they are "just okay?" Hawksley Workman's Between the
Beautifuls is NOT one of these albums. Every single song is full of emotion,
catchy rhythms, and memorable melodies. From the upbeat and charged "The City is
a Drag" to the emotional and musical "Oh, You Delicate Heart," this album is one
that will never mingle with CDs on your shelf - you will be too busy playing it
over and over again.

This album has earned a place in my personal pantheon of music. This is a great
album and definitely one of my favourites!

Between the Beautifuls is an invigorating album! The tracks catch you
from the start, and differ enough from one to the next that you want,
no, need, to keep listening. From the almost humorously lilting "Piano
Blink los manlicious mix" (my personal favorite), to the irresistable
charm of "All The Trees Are Hers", this album is
dance-around-your-bedroom-alone good. Thanks Hawksley.
