Hawksley Workman

We've just learned that Yahoo! Music Canada will premiere the video for "piano blink" today at around 5 pm. Don't miss it!

Just watched it, it clearly was filmed in my Winnipeg's Portage Place in the Christmas time (or at least I'm convinced it was) . I wait every morning at the bus stop outside of Portage place. I distinctly remember back in December while waiting for the bus and actually listening to Last Night...Delicious Wolves and looking over and seeing this guy like 10 feet away with another guy talking. I thought to myself "That guy looks exactly like Hawksley Workman. That guy has got to be Hawksley Workman. It can't be Hawksley Workman, what would he be doing in Winnipeg. He looks exactly like Hawksley but he couldn't be."

 Well maybe he was, I'm starting to think so, maybe he wasn't.

 So curse self doubt. He was Hawksley, or was he? Bugger.

It's so odd. I work at Portage Place and, taking a break, I clicked on the link to the video only to see Hawksley on a bike riding right down the hall a few meters from where I sit. How did I miss this? I worked 50 hours a week here at Christmas. I love how they posed in front of H'Attitude. I wonder if the people who run that store even know.
